As Kerbal technology advanced, their drive to explore space never slowed. After countless little green Kerbals turned into fireworks (only in the double digits, supposedly), Kerbin finally developed the technology to reach space. The surviving astronaut Jeb and the none-too-bright engineer Bill were not satisfied. Confident in his rocket designs, Bill uttered the words still repeated today: “We will not stop until we reach Mun!” (Mun is Kerbin’s nearest moon and will be called “the Moon” below.)
The Kerbals have now set their sights on the gray world of Mun and hope to land on its surface in a single mission. They are going to make Kerbin great again, provided there are no more fireworks 😃.

[Competition Requirements]
[1] Design a rocket that can land on the Moon and return. All parts and the Kerbin system must be stock, although control-assistance mods such as MJ are allowed. Individuals and teams may enter.
[2] Carry at least one Kerbal, plant a flag on the Moon, and return safely.
[3] Ideally, edit your entry into a 3–5-minute video with close-ups of the rocket and lunar landing. Alternatively, submit at least 10 in-game screenshots, including close-ups of the rocket and landing.
[4] Send the entry files to the official QQ email address, [email protected]. Name the file “Kerbal + project title + QQ number,” and include [project description + creators] with the submission.
[5] Deadline: 2/7, the 27th day of the twelfth lunar month, Sunday, at exactly 12:00 midnight.
[6] Videos and images may include a watermark logo as long as it does not detract from viewing.

[Judging Rules]
[1] If either the video or image category receives at least 3 entries, videos and images will be judged separately. If both receive fewer than 3, all entries will be judged together.
[2] Voting formula: (main group + Gewu Society + WeChat official account votes) *1 + association votes *3 = total votes.

[Notes]
[1] Advice: Pay attention to lighting and composition in videos and screenshots; both can earn extra credit. The choice of background music is also important for a video.
[2] The event is planned to have two winning entries. If videos and images are judged together, the top two win; if they are judged separately, the top entry in each category wins.

Some readers may wonder what is in the bottles. They contain cinnabar, sulfur, salt, plant leaves, and assorted seasonings.
Background: In 1666, the Great Plague of London forced universities to close, and the young Newton returned home to study. Theology and mysticism were widespread at the time, and a plague on such a scale naturally evoked ideas of divine destruction. Alongside his research at home, the anxious young Newton prayed to God, hoping to see the future and learn whether it would be good or bad. God answered. God made a mistake. God brought Linnaeus to the modern age instead. Science contains error, you see, and God must trust it. A butterfly crosses a hundred years, one wing skimming a vast sea: Newton sets the butterfly effect in motion. A black swan rises with the wind: Linnaeus is sent to the present. A falling feather brushes a gray rhinoceros’s hoof: what Linnaeus sees and experiences goes on to influence Darwin.
